Studied Computer Science at Utrecht University (MSc.). Master's thesis on HOPLa, a Hybrid Office Process Language to describe flexible business processes.

1995 - 1996 |
Fulfilled my Military Service. Worked as a ensign at the Infantry Training Centre, at a team that exploited systems for Computer Aided Exercises (war games). Detached to TNO in the Hague for developing supporting software.

1996 - 2001 |
Worked as a systems engineer, systems designer and project lead for Atos (known then as BSO/Origin). Designed and developed web-based business solutions for central government and large multinationals.

2001 - 2010 |
Co-founded qurus, an international professional services firm. Responsible for day-to-day operations for a company of twenty professionals with an annual revenue of over two million Euro. As a managing partner, acted as principal consultant and project manager for many of our clients. Specialised in Public Safety sector and Government.

Started Tribunus, a company specialised in no-nonsense and results-driven project management.
